Fair Foods supports over 80 agency and community groups with donations of food. Typical examples include Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (food pantry), Bowdoin Street Health Center (community outreach programs), Life House (battered women’s shelter), SHARE New England (low-cost bulk buying program) and St. Francis House (homeless shelter). In some cases, we charge a handling fee to offset costs, while in many cases there is no charge. We have never turned away an agency for lack of funds.

Fair Foods also donates food for special events, such as "Stand Up for Children," "Stand Up for Veterans," "Boys and Girls Club Fair," "Greater Boston Earth Day Celebrations," "Walk for Homelessness," "Walk for Hunger," various City Year events, and various Police Department events.
